Hello and thank you for taking a moment to view my "me" page. My name is Kim van de Wetering. I was born in 1973 in Den-Haag in the Netherlands. I currently live in Oud-Beijerland (this is a small town near Rotterdam) with my husband Jean Paul and 3 children, Harvey 12 years old,  Maggie 7 years old and Lloyd is from 18 december 2007

As a child, I was always very fond of dolls and drawing faces. They where my two favorite things to do. About 10 years ago, I started making dolls myself. Since then, this has been my favorite occupation. Besides babies, I also create elves and children dolls.

In 2002, I was the winner of the “poppen ring” in Ahoy, in English this means “dolls ring”. This is a European competition in which a new theme is set each year. The doll you submit has to match the theme. It was a great honor for me to win this ring.
